Pet Portraits

If you've decided to visit this page, then your pet is probably an importrant member of your family. I can create a lovely image for your wall at home, your desk at work, in a calendar or a coffee table style book.*

Consultation

The first step is to schedule a consultation. Consultations are free of charge, nor are you under any obligation to use Haven Photography for your portrait needs. The purpose here is to determine if Haven Photography is able to cater to your personal needs.

The Sitting

Sittings can be done in your home, yard or at a location of your choice.
Sitting time is approximately one hour. This will depend on your pet's ability to sit reasonably still for portraits.*
The sitting can also include more candid style portraiture of your pet. These can be something like playing with a favorite toy or a game of fetch.
There will be 5-10 images for you to choose from your pet's sitting.

Helpful Tips

Make sure your pet is properly groomed prior to the sitting.
Most pets are easier to photograph in an environment which they are comfortable. If you are considering an outdoor location, a place you frequent with your pet is a good option, or to choose a location with limited distractions.
Bring your pets favorite toy and treats. Both of these items can help coax your friend into a desirable pose.

*If your are interested on creating a collage of images in a coffee table style book of your pet, there will be a longer session time and a larger sitting fee for this.
